One of the great things about GTA 5 is how much variety there is in the open-world single player game and while it’s not as innovative as, say, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the fact that you can do heists and go on a killing spree makes it really easy. More fun.
Heists are a major part of GTA 5 since the main characters – Michael, Franklin and Trevor – team up to take part in heists so they can make money, so Ocean’s-style crew formation was inevitable.

Unfortunately, just like the role-based JRPG, not every crew member in GTA 5 is necessary because some characters excel at certain skills more than others and only need two if we’re being honest.
However, for those who just want to recruit every single crew member in GTA 5, here’s how to get Chef, who’s not the worst member of the game but also inferior to Packie McReary, albeit easier to recruit.
While Packie needs a random event to be recruited, getting a Chef is a lot easier because you recruited him shortly after completing the Blitz Play mission.
Sure, this is technically a robbery job so it’s a bit time consuming but once the job is done you’ll get a text from the chef himself to confirm that he’s now part of the group.
As mentioned earlier, Chef isn’t quite as good as Packie but given the episodes you have to jump through just to get a GTA 4 character, we wouldn’t blame you for just sticking with Chef.
You can do much worse in this game if we are honest.
GTA 5, which comes with GTA Online, is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
